"Located in Lehel just a block or two from Maximilianstrasse on a pleasant and quiet residential street. From our sidewalk table my wife and I watched the dogwalkers and other residents out for a stroll. Our server, who spoke perfect English, was warm and friendly. We both ordered the three course menu of the day. First up was an absolutely delicious cold buttermilk cucumber soup with salmon, horseradish and herbs. We both soaked up the last few drops with our bread. Next was loin of beef in sherry jus with potatoes, chanterelles, zucchini and spring onions. Again, perfectly done and delicious. Finally a lovely dessert of yogurt mousse with loads of berries... and pumpernickel sand? That turned out to be ground toasted pumpernickel bread which added a tasty and delightful crunch to the mousse. The wine list is huge here, with plenty of choices by the glass. Don't worry, there's a couple of Munich's finest on tap too. Don't hesitate to seek this place out, you won't be disappointed."
