"Ali's is just a short walk from Gießen Station and worth a visit. The waitress is friendly and attentive; the menu is all fish/seafood, and most items are grilled and served with a salad and delicious fries (small, round, slightly fried potatoes). My wife ordered the salmon and thought it was one of the better prepared salmon steaks she ever had. I order Dorade (whatever this is); it came with skin, head and bone, but was very tasty. Dinner for two was about 25 euros and it is worth it. If you know the bus lines of Gießen, this place is just a block from the 802 stop. Try it out."
