"Went for family dinner. Staff initially not very responsive, then became very pleasant and attentive. Wine selection is somewhat limited. Garlic spread for bread was delicious. Soup was adequate and chanterelle salad tasty. Entrees we had included lasagna, baked in the brick oven, was delicious and creamy, eggplant Parmesan was thickly sliced, fresh, not breaded, and had a fresh tomato sauce (usually served with meat sauce). Penne with cream sauce and prosciutto was creamy and well seasoned. The stuffed squid with spinach and ricotta in a tomato sauce was very tasty but as spicy as expected. Although initially a shaky start with service, the food was on point."
