"We used to like Zen Zen in particular the kids love their running sushi. But our last visit was very unpleasant. We arrived and waited for a few minutes before someone saud hello and continued what he was doing, and another few minutes before someone asked what we want. Sushi buffet 20 min waiting time. We said ok. Usually we were invited to wait at one of the empty tables. Not this time. We continued to stand there a bit puzzled). Then other people came, waiting behind us. Then finally someone came, asked the people just behind us how many they are, and invited them to wait at an empty table. And then the people behind them, and finally we were left the only family still standing and wondering why...I tried to get the attention of the employee, but unsuccessfully). Finally we were also invited to wait at a table. Then people started to leave and places became available for the buffet. The waiter went and invited to the buffet the people who arrived after us, but were placed at a waiting table before us. Then I told him that this is not fair, because we were there begire them. He replied that he has a list, and on the list we are after them. Of course I protested and told him that I don 't know what list he has, but I know for sure those people arrived after us. He made a sign like he couldn 't care less. Then I told him that in this case we 'll go somewhere else and I wanted to leave. He then pointed to another free table saying we can sit there. : I still wanted to leave, but the kids wanted to stay...so we stayed. We were 5, the table had 4 places. While the kids took a sit, we remained standing. A waiter appeared after another few minutes and we asked for a fifth chair he pointed to another table saying we can take a chair normally in a restaurant I expect the employees to prepare a table for the right number of persons...or at least to indicate from where we should take the extra chairs needed, from the start). Then we ordered drinks: 2 large lychee juices and 3 small ones. Two minutes after, the waiter comes to tell us they don 't have large juices, only at 250ml. Fine, then 5 small lychee juices. Two more minutes she comes back saying they don 't have any lychee juice. : ... Ok...then 5 apple juices. She comes back with 4 juices and that 's it. We left it like that, too many unpleasant discussions for one evening. Not sure I will ever go back...perhaps when it 's not so crowded, but the safest choice seems to be going somewhere else. I rarely felt so unwelcome in a restaurant. Food was ok, but impossible to enjoy it."
