"We stayed in Friesland, NL for a small holiday and the restaurants were all "closed down" [closed]. So we drove an hour to Meppen for a special meal and chose Schmidt on the market for lunch. It was very good! Yummy Food .. good service .. beautiful atmosphere. We had the wild game stew completely delicious! Along with a kind of noodle balls from noodles and other things [sorry, forget what it was called my German is near zero] also total YUMMY! For dessert we had this marzipan ice cream dish just as delicious as the rest! With espresso, beer, all reasonable for under 70 € VERY. I drove the 100 km back there!"
