"Three of us went here on a Saturday night to treat ourselves to dinner on the way home from the Pyramidenkogel. The reviews are really good : We hadn 't reserved, but were able to get a seat. We ordered the food at 7:45 p.m. and asked for the first time at 8:20 p.m. what time it was for the food, because we are starving and would like to be home before it gets dark. We ordered two salads and one cheese spaetzle, nothing that is difficult to do or time-consuming for the chef. When asked, the master of the house immediately checked when we had ordered and said: Normally you have to reckon with 1.5 hours and that we were still well on time. The food finally came after 50 minutes. As for the food, it has to be said that it was excellent. Portions are big, taste was very good. Due to the waiting time and the rather unmotivated waiters, we deduct a star. In general, the waiters provided rather little service. The young waiter who brought the drinks was trying but he poured out a lot. Unfortunately, the other waiters forgot things or forgot orders. The master of the house was always present, always helpful and always checked if everything was ok. Because of the waiting time we were offered a schnapps, which we declined. We can recommend the Karawankenblick restaurant (run by the third generation with a clear conscience. Especially to people without time pressure.
