"This is a traditional Austrian Restaurant in the heart of Linz. We arrived there with no reservation but the warm hearted staff made place for us. The food was very delicious finger licking spare ribs. They came in a big plate. Quite big portions. We were unable to finish had to take some home with us. We loved the Puntigamer Beer too. Marios service was great. He was working alone and managed to keep everyone happy. Will definitely be back!"

"beautiful place away from the beaten. a local restaurant with great equipment. very popular also for a Tuesday evening. I had the venison main course, which was very much a 'in the season' meat and it was very delicious. would definitely recommend to go here and eat seasonal meat. excellent."

"You need to book a table as this place is very popular the whole year round but the meals are expensive for what you get with prices inflated to about 50% above average prices. Excellent local drinks so the apple juice is excellent cloudy and not from a packet. Very little in the way for vegetarians but my friend had the pumpkin schnitzel which he said was very good. My potatoes were hard and not properly cooked through. I ate the food but did not enjoy my cordon bleu. Our table was by a pillar and it was very difficult and cramped to eat.This table was only suitable for a single person and not for two people."
