"Obviously, pre ski season, choices are limited. However, even if the ski season would be open I would highly recommend 1846 Tavern. Food was ready for pick up at the time stated on the order. It wasn’t ready when I walked in, only because the chef thought the greens were a little too wilted and he was preparing a brand new salad. Enjoyable atmosphere and great selection of local beers and apple wines. We enjoyed a date night, but would have seen a friendly hand out to see a game. The duck and steak tips were cooked to perfection and we just wanted to dessert! Service was top notch, tables and dining rooms were clean and safe.

It was outside of seating and there was a little waiting time, which was good as there were 7 of us. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food took a little to get out, but our waiter immediately let us know and we were not in a hurry. The cheese plate was great and I love the raw bar. Excellent place to dine. It was a bit expensive, but not worth more than New York and every penny.
