"We had the French Onion Soup and the Cajun Shrimp and it was delicious and the portions were good. Our waitress was amicable and knowledgeable. The reason I gave this review 3 stars is because of the SIZE of the soda. They gave me a glass that was maybe 8 oz. It looked like a thimble full. Fill that with ice to the top and you get about 4 oz of soda. That costs $4 at the Albatross. THATS A DOLLAR AN OUNCE. No free refills. Let me make a comparison. CJS across the street charged us $7 for a can of beer and a soda. My glass had to be 16 or 20 oz. Huge. So buyer beware if you order a soda at the Albatross for you or all your kids. Food was delicious and the service nice and friendly. I had steamers and mussels in marinara sauce. It was so good, I went back the next day and ordered the same thing

Very pub looking place with a lot of regulars. Food was reasonably priced all of their salads especially the salad specials are exceptional. My husband opted for the Poké bowl and I had that quinoa salad with grilled chicken. Both were tremendous and reasonably priced. Service is always great and I make a point of eating here anytime I am in Ocean Beach.
