"I was really looking forward to my Antojitos experience. We sat at the bar while waiting for our reservation/table. The mixologist that fixed our drink was extremely attentive. She asked how we liked our drink and which tequila we preferred. I was appreciative of her inquiry and willingness to make our drinks the way we preferred them. Meh...nice atmosphere, good decor, live music was fun but way too loud that you can't talk with your group. Hostesses were very good. Chips and salsa were ok. Corn dip appetizer was pretty good. Birria tacos were good. Chicken fajitas had little flavor and over cooked. Al pastor tacos were awful. Meat was crusty and dry like it had been over a warmer. Carne asada tacos were awful..same dry crusty flavorless meat. Burrito was almost completely filled with rice and very little meat. Server was slow and checked on us twice. We were super thirsty from the park so we would have like drinks topped off. Corn dip and birria tacos were the only good items for our entire group. Left hungry and grabbed...

"we've been here before and loved it. this time when there was a big mistake on our meal, we couldn't get it for a ridiculously long time. they collect our meal to another table, and it was only when we asked what was going on on what happened. even wait too long! sometimes an apology is not enough. (which we have received from some different people) acts speak louder than words. a “we give them a drink in the house while we fix the problem” or any gesture would have been great to fix our frustration and make us feel a bit of this disney magie. had happened in the past! so the experience this time was less than satisfactory, unfortunately."

"I enjoy The Boathouse, the food here is usually pretty good, but today the service was just abysmal. First off, usually on a quiet day, you can just walk up and usually be seated relatively quickly. But not today, the line just to talk to someone, RESERVATION OR NOT was about 15-20 minutes, with a line out of the door. This line alone should have been a sign to cut my losses and just leave, but instead I persisted giving The Boathouse the benefit of the doubt. I waited and waited some more, just to be told at the front desk that my 1 PM reservation was not ready yet and that they were still trying to seat people with 12:15/12:30 reservations. NOTE: I didn 't get to the desk until around 1:20/1:30 PM, so already about an hour behind. I was told that I will get a text when my table would be ready, I was fed up with waiting so I left. What 's the point in having a reservation if one, I have to wait in a line with people who don 't have a reservation and two have to wait even longer for my table to be ready well after my reservation time? It very much defeats the purpose of having a reservation, especially with the Disney app that can let you at some restaurants check in without having to talk to someone? On top of this, why was there no communication from the restaurant beforehand or while I was waiting in a long line to let me know hey we 're not going to be able to seat you at the time that we promised . All of this to say, Disney gets very busy, there are some issues from both a communication and operations standpoint that should definitely be looked at. All that had to be done to make today a little bit better was literally someone from the restaurant coming out and saying something along the lines If you don 't have a reservation, your estimated wait time will probably be around x hours AND OR If you have a reservation, we might not get to you at your reservation time just simple things to show that you care about your guest 's time. Maybe consider relying more on the app or having a separate area for those with reservations or without? Either way, super disappointed and it 's not fair to the frontline staff that were not being treated nicely by those who were understandably upset, that should be dealt with by management."

"Our server, Newman, was great. He was friendly and supervised about the quality of food and service provided. He regularly reviewed us and even made friendly talks about the neighborhood. We are new residents in the area and he provided some great tips. We will be back and we will ask to sit in his section. Thank you."
