"In the city for a few days for work we decided to try August BBQ. This was one of the best BBQ I had in several years of travel. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is great to play with Cornhole boards as soon as you finish. The loaded fry appetizer is enough for a few people. August the owner was even friendly enough to talk to us for a while and the staff was also very friendly. We'll come back when they have the night of the bride to give them a shot. Very recommend you stop and give the food a try. They won't be disappointed."

The food I ordered was great. I ordered the Russell plate... smoked turkey, baby back ribs and brisket. The smoked turkey was fantastic...moist and tasteful. My pages were potato salad and Mac and cheese. The potato salad was more like potatoes with the trimmings. Now the Mac and the cheese were just perfect. Not wet and not dry. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. It was Thursday night, cycling evening with live music.... nice.
