"I am really disappointed with this experience. I had often heard how awesome this pizza place was but it left me quite underwhelmed. I got an order of mozzarellasticks to go which was probably a mistake because they often get a little bit cold and chewy even after sitting for just a couple of minutes. I think they would be really good eating in the restaurant fresh and hot they look like they are homemade and home breaded. The pizza is sell however was very disappointing. They listed as a medium but I think it's less than a 10 inch pizza. The cheese tasted uncooked completely and was extremely chewy more than it should have been. Great outdoor place for the kids to burn energy, good beer selection, pizza is just okay at~15$ a small personal pizza. Solid friendly service. You're welcome.

Excellent brick pizza and lasagna! Your lunch special is cheap. Fantastic pizza. 14 beers on Hahn! One of Austin's local possessions, best kept secrets. Also historical buildings from the 1800s. Old post or something. Supposedly followed. Ooo.

This used to be a serious Austin icon. It 's been sold and there are clear positives and negatives. No longer an old austin joint to be clear but still a decent place especially to take kids. The place used t be real hot or miss on burnt crust but as far as thin crust goes it was amazing when right. Literally the best thin in town... but alas no more. The menu used to be ridiculous... way to many items and the weird stuff was gross. Not the case anymore- still a lot of options but not a stupid amount of gross pizzas. Fair beer selection. "One of my favorite restaurants in the world! Service was stellar! Attentive, friendly, and efficient. Cocktails, Spring Fling and Havana 3am, were delicious, well balanced, great depth of flavor. The Hot and crispy Italian bread was as delicious and yummy as ever. This time we ordered the Caesar salad and Beet, Orange, and Fennel salad since it was so hot and we were looking for something light and both were refreshing and excellent. My Brother in Law's wood grilled bone in New York came and it was well done, not even a hint of pink, but the kitchen fired a new one and it was delivered a perfect medium rare. The server comped our three desserts for the issue which was appreciated. The Pacific Halibut was a little too salty for my taste and also a little over done but flavors were good so kept it. For dessert, the olive oil cake was the standout for us with the espresso afogato running a close second. As others have noted, make sure to make your reservations well in advance!!!"

"Excellent food!!! And the service was amazing. Our waiter Lawrence was very informative regarding wines, alcohol and food. Excellent staff all around from the minute you walk in to the minute you step out. Heads up if you order the pork chops it's more than enough for two ppl. I myself ordered the Texas wagyu steak and the billionaires potatoes were superb as well."

He informed me that the menu changes daily, which I found to be a wonderful concept. The snapper and chocolate mousse cake were both delicious. "Service was fine until we ordered dessert. The desert took over minutes it was bananas foster and when it finally came out the waiter poured cold syrup on top of the bananas and they barely lit. The resulting meal was ice cream cake . Raw bananas and cold syrup. We had already waited for so long for our dessert that there was no way to complain. Additionally during the minutes we were waiting for dessert, the waiter never asked us if we wanted a drink or anything. The last hour of our meal was very disappointing. This is the first time I have ever had a bad experience at Eddie V’s. And I’m not sure what was going on but it was not good"
