"First time at Axel's. The staff is excellent friendly, helpful and the atmosphere is lively and cheerful. The food was so good. Our kids had chicken tenders that actually looked and tasted like chicken. Our table enjoyed a variety of breakfast and lunch plates that were all delicious. My one complaint would be how long it took to get our food. Fortunately, the kids were occupied and the server kept our coffee cups full, so it wasn't that big of a deal. We are definitely going back."

we ordered breakfast from here today, eating came on time, but a whole dish was missing from the order. the worst part is that we have ordered 3 coffees and opened them to identify as they have no names (glad we.) they are full of dead fly! bad quality all around.

had an breakfast date here and got the chicken and waffel, hubby got the protein and we both got hot chocolate. it was so good! j was our server and she was so sweet. she even warmed up hot koko again and more whipped cream and fold on the top! the cafe is women in possession and super sweet and beautiful!

"Overall disappointing visit. I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant and booked a table with friends for my Wife’s Bday. Initial service was good, then dropped off. Ordered an app that they ran out of and then they changed it for a more expensive app without telling us. Then my friend ordered Lasagna, which is pretty much a staple for an Italian restaurant and after 30 minutes, the server came back and told us they were out of it. How do you run out of lasagna? Then we get the bill and they added a 9 covid up charge that wasn’t taken off even though I asked so we just paid the bill and left. Too many other good restaurants in the area to go to for the we paid."

"My favorite Mexican restaurant in Wheeling. I've been going to this place for how long and I just really love their food. I would go here each time I am craving for Mexican foods because they have the best of it in the area based on experience especially their tacos and burritos. There are also times that I honestly experienced something not great but going back and forth to the place for a long time, I got used to it and there are just really times where everything is not good which is basically understandable. I love that the restaurant is consistent to their food and to their prices as well. The food is definitely delicious, full of flavor, fresh and the prices are very reasonable and this is also perfect whenever I am in a hurry or sometimes, I wanted food really fast. It is not something fancy which is really nice and the ambiance of the restaurant is very comfortable. Customer service of the restaurant is also great and the staffs are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is definitely the restaurant that you should not miss to visit here in Wheeling."

"Really let me down in the service category. We got there for a late lunch, and got asked to leave promptly at 2:30 when we had arrived at 1:30. If you have to tell people to leave because you have to lock your doors, don’t seat them in the first place. We won’t ever be back, too bad too, the food isn’t that bad.
