"How have I never been here before? We were catching a Theatre Charlotte show at Warehouse 242 and, lucky for us, the first two restaurants we stopped in had longer waits than we had time for. Bar-b-q King to the rescue! Definitely a 50s vibe. You pull up to a speaker, order, and a server delivers your tray (not on roller skates though You pay the server, and there is a 3% surcharge for a card, so cash is good here. I got a grilled chicken salad and sis got a chicken club. Even though I'd never been here, I had the good sense to order the onion rings. Definitely a good choice. Light, crunchy, perfectly fried. we've been here since we highlighted it on food network. the chicken is so delicious! and it is also quite cheap. from 7-30-2022, two orders of half bbq chicken and 2 cokes was $35.08. the service is fast. it's definitely worth the trip from rock hill.

on 06/21/2022 an order was issued and the customer service was differentiated and had to deal with great auge willy at any time. I ordered fried Bbq chicken, but was deliberately equipped with pure fried chicken and cold fryed. then somehow, when I was her from the mistake with my order, they were all from fried BBQ chicken. as a native charlottean, this place was on a steady decline and will probably not be much longer open, and I will not be sad to see it going!
