Bennigan's Restaurant

New family restaurant and bar in Clarksburg! Some similar items on menu as the old bennigan's, several new things. Beer tap list is still boring (one local craft) as is the can selection (also no local craft other than one option). Will update the review after we've eaten here a couple times. Happy to have a new non-franchise restaurant to visit in town. Outdoor seating out back on a nice covered porch. I'll add that the local craft they have is a great one. Smoketown's Patsy Hazy IPA. So hopefully they expand to more taps with local offerings.

Don 't think I 'll ever go to Bennigan 's again. Today is my son 's birthday. We made reservations for 15 people because some family was traveling to celebrate with us from out of town. The person taking my reservations told me if there is a problem Janice or Ashley will contact me. The gentleman asked for and even repeated my wifes cell phone number. FFWD: My family pulls up to the restaurant 6 cars deep to find that there is a sign on the door saying Closed for renovations! How embarrassing. Even more confusing a employee leaving the restaurant tells us they will be open tomorrow. That would be great if my reservation was for tomorrow. Oh and I 'm still waiting on a call from Janice or Ash...

Just had a TERRIBLE experience here. I went for lunch and ordered a Turkey O 'Toole sandwich which comes on a pretzel bun (says that in the menu description). I 've had this many times and it 's quite good. The pretzel bun really makes it. When the server brought it over, it was on a regular hamburger bun. I asked to see the manager. Janet, the manager came over and I explained my dissatisfaction. She told me that they are unable to get any pretzel buns from their supplier and that 's why it was on a plain hamburger bun. I told her that my server should have told me that what I 'd be getting was not what 's described in the menu. I told her that there should be an adjustment on my bill or no...
