"The food is great. It is unusual and very nicely presented. I am giving 4 stars for service because the hostess (Rose? was very rude. We had a disabled person in our party so we could not sit in the upper or lower levels. She could not solve that problem and did not seem to be concerned about providing a pleasant dining experience. Thankfully, our waiter solved the problem by putting two tables together! Genius!! We had a very enjoyable lunch after that. This restaurant needs a new hostess. Prices are fair. The food is very good."

"decided to try Newk's for the first time with the family before I fly home. The manager was quick to welcome us as the restaurant had just opened, and the staff was super friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and the cleanliness of the restaurant was a wonderful additional bonus. I will definitely visit again in the near future!"

"My wife and I celebrsted our 49th Anniversary here as well as the birthday of our younger son. It was beyond awesome. The entrees we had were most excellent and the bread putting I had for dessert was way, way beyond good. This place is not inexpensive but I will absolutely recommend it for special occasions. "I just ate there with my family. There was a long wait to get a table but they were busy and short staffed. I had the Fish and Chips. It was amazing. The fries were really good and the fish was good. They weren't skimpy on the food. I'm a big guy and there was plenty of food for me. The waiter was nice and funny. The only issue I had with the food was the paper lining in the basket dissolved under the cole slaw and I most like ingested some paper with my food. Otherwise, no more complaints."
