They offer the best kebabs and its variations! With homemade bread and good sauces choice. Generous portions and the atmosphere is pretty cool. The owner is super friendly and polite. We always go there if we are eating kebab, nowhere else.

I've been visiting Bistro Bread Basket for a few years. Since last year the quality of food has been very poor. And prices have risen. You're paying 12 Fr for a kebab box now. This is too expensive in combination with the bad food. I threw half of my food away. During my visit the staff was not as friendly as ever. I decided not to visit Bistro bread basket again.

The bread basket is located in the beautiful old town of Aarau. You get good kebab here: a good portion of meat of good quality, with fresh vegetables and good sauces. The menu (15.00 CHF includes a drink (30cl and a good part of the french french fries. If the weather is good, sit on the back terrace for a great view of the river or sit in front of the bread basket enjoy the lively and beautiful old town of Aarau. Of course, the service is limited (it is finally a kebab shop! but they are really hints: I am not sure if the employees speak English or not (we order in German, but they have pictures and you can point out what you want.
