Mr lou, we have the greatest respect, but his daughter, who has taken over, will no longer get our business. Please don't talk to your hard-working waitress before customers. This is very unprofessional and ugly. This type of management tactics never works and will only hurt your lower line. This will only hurt your integrity as a businesswoman. Traveling from Oklahoma and had the best experience. Super friendly people and DELICIOUS food. The roasted ravioli and pizza are a must.

I got the veal dinner with pasta and when it came out, it wasn't even warm. There is not one person in this place that you should be ashamed of!! That sat in a dark corner where you can cook the microwave. I never come back here again! What a shame

"I was very impressed to say the least. Best seafood I had for years and I have seafood Boston to SC to South and West Coasts of FL. Had the seafood gumbo as an appetizer and I loved it. Had the seafood dish as the main course and it was not disappointed. Eating seemed like it was the catch of the day right off the coast of Saint Albans. Lol!!!! Loved the food, service and atmosphere. Not sure who leads this place, but stop what you do."

"Never had a bad experience here. Friendly people, good food. I don't live in St. Albans, so I don't eat much there, but I probably have eaten a dozen times in the last few years, even yesterday. I was in the area for my daughter to attend a birthday party, and wanted to find a escape to watch the pirate game. River 's Edge is the most beautiful place to watch a sport. Within seconds of the question that she had a remote control and came over and found my game on the TV closest to me. They had only sports center and an NCAA women tourney game. And NASCAR on some TVs. Many TVs to please everyone. I have my favorite, the crab filled mushrooms. Home made with their own recipe and broiled, they are amazing. Also the cable-fishing sandwich tried for the first time and it was also delicious. You also have great wings and burgers. It could take a minute or two for them to locate you because it sits itself, but I don't understand why people talk about wait 10 minutes and go out. The place isn't that big? Why can't you excuse me, we haven't waited yet? This will be less time that it takes you to get a place in a review bash! I'm sure they apologize and make your visit amazing from this point. People who expect perfection all the time should look into a mirror. You're not perfect either. This is a great, locally owned place that wants to enjoy delicious food. They are also human. Cheers!"

"I had heard so much about Diehl, I had quite high expectations. The foods exceeded these expectations. I ordered the baked steak with sage, green beans and rolls, with a salad in front and chocolate cake. Everything tasted homemade, and the chocolate cake was very chocolatey and freshly costed. The beans did not taste. The high-quality butter was served with the homemade rolls, and with the baked steak there was a lot of engraving. Basically, the food at Diehl is everything Cracker Barrel wants. I went on a Sunday shortly after the church, so the restaurant was absolutely packed. The service was understandably somewhat slow, but I still got beverage refills and had a very pleasant experience. I will certainly try something else from the extensive menu again."
