"Is it too much to ask to get chicken that doesn't taste like it's 3 days old??? We quit getting food here because it's always terrible but since it had been a while we gave it another chance last night.....hubby picked up an 8 piece family meal around 6:15pm and the chicken looked and tasted like it had been sitting in the heat well since at least noon. The skin was so hard you couldn't bite it and the chicken was dryer than any chicken I have ever had in my life. I just don't understand how any restaurant would actually serve something like that to a customer. 8/27/22 Zero stars truthfully. Atleast today, to be fair other times weren't bad just standard for any fast food spot. They made an elderly woman wait 1hour and 5 minutes(she timed it) for a order of just 2 country fried ham biscuits and 2 sausage biscuits, bo berry biscuits. Bo berry biscuits were hard not worth the wait at all. The food overall was not cooked well today.

The restaurants in our city closed some years ago so when we saw this one while visiting Columbia, SC for a graduation we had to stop. I was disappointed, the wings were hard and dry as if they had been cooked hours before. The dirty rice tasted ok but was cold. My travel companions said the tenders were ok. I gave them three stars for the Cajun pinto beans and the sweet potato pies, which were surprisingly good.

"it is unfortunate when a business is held hostage by bad service and bad management. We had a party of 8 that was neglected by the original server because there was a bigger party after us . Incorrect orders, incorrect drinks, food came out without the rice and beans or without tortillas, a total mess. So things started to get heated, our original waitress abandoned us and then comes another guy to serve us. He could not produce the simple tortillas for the meals that had come out 10 minutes earlier and when the second waiter was asked for a tea refill l, he rolled his eyes to me. I had enough and I went to talk to the manager. The manager was somewhat apologetic, however he came to the table once and never asked to be apologized for the terrible service. At the end I was surprised that was no effort on making sure we were ok or to simply say we are sorry this happened. He started to argue with me, defending his apprentice. The manager claimed that the restaurant was his restaurant and he thought I was not going to pay him, which I did. So he literally asked me to leave, what a horrible experience. No management skills, terrible service, what an unfortunate event . I wished we had gone elsewhere so we could have enjoyEd our family time with decent service. Oh btw the food was B"

"Great spot for a date night. Good food, good service, comfortable atmosphere. Some portions are oddly large (fried zucchini appetizer? yet some are lacking (swordfish portion was extremely small and just a touch too greasy however the overall experience is well above average and I would return. Brick chicken was amazing, good wine list."

"A great experience! I was extremely pleased to have a dinner in which I didn't feel rushed to get the next customer seated. The food was prepared professionally. Being it was our first experience, we were treated wonderfully and had everything explained. It's someplace I highly recommend that everyone try at least once. For us, we will be back again! We had the 4 course meal and by far our favorite was the shrimp and lobster cooked in the mojo seasoning. I'm sure my wife would argue a little and say it was the white chocolate fondue with Heath bar melted in it."
