"What a great find in El Sobrante! The name includes only one of its attributes a variety of beer and wine with a bar in the back! I discovered the front is also an area for Indian food, lunch (Punjabi cuisine Tues Thur 11a 3p), in the middle of the store sold traditional Indian clothing/Fabric, etc. I was looking for a place like this to make legit ingredients authentic Indian recipes my next food conquest was Dal Makhini and I could find everything I needed and then some! "The first time here. A bit expensive, but really good food and drinks! They seemed to have forgotten that we were there on arrival, but once the server found us, things were great! Classic atmosphere, but no need to dress up if you want. Amazing cocktail selection! I want to come back to try half of it. I got the Chardonnay today, which was delicious. I ate the shrimp and avocado cocktail as my entree, that was delicious, but too saucy for my pleasure. Husband got lomo-saltado, which was a generous bunch of steak mixed with frits in the steak juice. He loved it, but too many fries. My son got the pizza for children who tasted strangely like the pizza of the school I ate as a child. Long story short, we will return to try more of the very interesting things on the menu!"

"The restaurant used excessive oil which resulted in tasteless and soggy fried food. I would be willing to pay for a healthier and more expensive option. After trying the food twice, I do not think it is worth going back as it left me with a heavy and greasy aftertaste."

"To preserve old favorties. Suski's country kitchen is a wonderful place for family and friends to gather and have a good meal without spending. It is also nice to bring the city guest for a quick breakfast or lunch and to know that they enjoy the food. Everyone who works there and the people who eat there are from the neighborhood. You can even enter someone you haven't seen in Suskis. It's just a whole family and friends restaurant with good food."

"Pretty good sushi. I ordered online and the order was ready when we arrived. The order estimated time was accurate, taking only 20 minutes. I got the fried oyster appetizer and a few sushi pieces. The oyster appetizer does come with the sauce on the oysters. I recommend asking for the sauce on the side or eating them ASAP! The torched salmon with mayo was my favorite of them. The others I got were hamachi nigiri and torched scallop with mayo. I got their super white tuna or escolar sashimi to try. I wish the pieces were cut a little differently as they were very thick and cube like. I'll come back in the future to try other items!"
