"Stepping into Brasserie you feel like you 've been transported to a timeless French Bistro very similar to Balthazar or Raoul 's in Manhattan. I recommend some of the amazing cocktails to start, any of their tartes (light French pizza) PEI mussels, chicken schnitzel or steak frites. My wife enjoys their very fresh Scottish salmon. Brasserie has amazing wine and Evelyn is extremely knowledgeable should you need help navigating the wine list. In fact, all of their staff are extremely helpful and friendly. A French American eatery that the locals love. Went here while visiting friends in Closter and our friends ran into a few aquaintances from the area. The food is good and service courteous. The Mussels we ordered were fresh and it's broth was the best I have ever tasted. The duck leg was tender and had a nice crust. The Escargot was good. They have decent options on drinks. Overall a good experience on a relaxed night out.

Brasserie Memere is a hidden gem in an otherwise average Closter plaza. The restaurant is operated by a lovely woman who will run to get your order for you. We haven't seen that kind of commitment in a long time. Brasserie is impeccably clean and warming to walk into. There is an abundant of patio space along the side and in the back. We ate from the Express menu due to the time we arrived. First, the pastries were still-warm-fresh. The almond croissants and the kougin amann were unbelievable. It will be hard to find pastry this good in Paris, let alone in north Jersey. The nicoise and croque monsieur were perfect for a light bite. We will definitely be going back and we recommend it to ever...

"I would like to congratulate the new owner Yusuf, he is extremely with all the new upgrades he introduced, including the latest menu with tasteful seafood. Everything's so delicious. One of my favorites is “Octopus Carpaccio”. I was in many upscale restaurants, and I can really say Octtopus carpaccio has the Michelin star quality taste with its unique sauce. New chefs earn the credit. I had ordered Filet Mignon from Sofia Englewood almost weekly, then recently stopped thanks to new menu item “Saslik” from Samdan. Main ingredient is specially marinated fillet mignon, and it is served with potato puree on the bottom and cooks secret sauce on top, this combination is mouthwater. Since the meeting with saslik we have ordered weekly from Samdan for our family dinners. See the photo it shows, take order of saslik how beautiful it couples with my favorite Cabernet red wine, cheers my friends ...."

"Visiting from Delaware I wanted to have dinner at a nice restaurant for my birthday being I was in town and so was my siblings. This restaurant was recommended and as a chef and critic I decided to try it Although the menu was a little pricey the portion size was worth it.. Food was good overall except the wait It was a special occassion for my birthday no recognition at all.. and we weren’t greeted until my brother mentioned we had a reservation.. I called in advance and was told they didn’t have a drink menu and was recommended to bring our own wine but Also there is a $30 corkage fee . Only to arrive and see they have a drink menu."

"Great food and service . (TY Brooke and Nieve) We went for my daughters girlfriends bday. I got the shrimp and mushroom risotto special it was delicious . My husband got the pork chop w spicy vinegar peppers -excellent ! The girls got limon chicken and drunken eggplant rolatini both great . Key lime pie and Choc chip cookie lava cake to end the night were amazing. Would def recommend and want to come back and try the pizzas which looked so good ."

"Tonight I ordered my grilled chicken dinner (as always) and it showed up looking raw with raw onions. We tried calling to ask about it but there is absolutely no way to get through. So I get in my car, with raw chicken in hand and drive back the the restaurant. I get to the counter, show them the chicken and, instead of making it right, the cook tells me to order it again. They will not replace or even grill my bland raw chicken. They just kept pointing to a sign on the wall saying, call Eddie No thanks. Eddie should call me.Wish I took a picture of it. There was no color or signs of being grilled AT ALL.Shame on Cuban Eddie's and their unskilled cook We will not be going back here and neither should you. Cuban Eddie's cares nothing for the community that keeps them in business.Edit Reply to owner You are dishonest for saying that they offered me a replacement. And if your crew said that they offered me another grilled chicken, they are dishonest too. I did leave with $12 in my hand and an empty stomach. Perhaps you should spend more time in the restaurant and less time on the keyboard."
