"We left tonight. Nobody greeted us when we came in. All the tables were dirty. A man came and cleaned us a table. It took 20 minutes to get someone on the table to get menus afterwards. No welcome, no words that they would be right with us, nothing. Then another 15 minutes until another lady comes to get our drink order. She drank 12 minutes to get drinks and she wasn't friendly. At about 45 minutes when they had not even taken our order (the waitress took another table order that came before us) so we left. It was a terrible experience. Perfect little place. Extra large portions. The early bird specialities are smaller than dinner. Serve beer and wine, but practically nothing to the design. The owners and staff are all wonderful and the food is for the owner to die and cook has been in business for 35 years and is so pleasant and quiet. Just good food. Appropriately expensive I think for portions.

Briandi is absolutely amazing! Small family-run restaurant 9 tables 4 bar stools, best kept secret in Venice area! This is not a fast food joint, a complete culinary experience, from soup and salad to freshly made bread directly from the oven, to the mouth, the homemade derées watered. Oh and the steaks don't forget! Bring an appetite to feed them She here I was about 20 times or more last year and had only amazing food and great service 10 of 10 I recommend Briandi's!!!

If not too hungry late a night with my parents, we just stopped by to check a new place and have a late night snack / meal. I had only the French onion soup and bread and both were delicious! French onion soup can be a real farewell so that I rarely order it, but Briandi did it perfectly and the bread is amazing! My parents also liked their meals. The atmosphere is a little too dive bar as for an Italian restaurant in our opinion that would not make this place ideal for an elegant evening, but the food is excellent, the server was pleasant, and we had a great experience.
