"Went to Waynesboro to visit antique shops. Burke Perk was recommended by a local antique shop owner, and her recommendation was great! I enjoyed The Club with Fritten and my husband ordered The Classic Clucker Sandwich with Fritten. My club sandwich was enough for 2 people and came with a generous amount of frits. My husband made his sandwich, and it was all gone before I could take a photo. The service was great considering that today was the high school department and the majority of the staff had gone out because of this event. Great atmosphere, nicely decorated and super friendly staff. Definitely recommend. During the week they have a buffet, so I look forward to visiting the next time...

Excellent food and service. The best southern food with real ingredients! From baked fish, fried chicken, lemon chicken, grits, collards, all cooked to perfection, and so much more to choose from!

No more a Bake Shop, but they have a fantastic everything you can eat buffet. They had 5 different meat selections and literally 8 different vegetables, corn bread, dessert and tea. Real South Food at a great price! Downtown Waynesboro is full of shops and interesting places to walk around after lunch.

came for dinner with friends. Most of them had the hamburgers. Pair of Bacon Burger, Slider, Pilzburger and a meat leaf special. All burgers were very delicious. The meat dish that is told me was also wonderful, but the Raves were for the mixed vegetables that came with them. Loved also the hand cut pommes!! I didn't get pictures because I was too hungry to remember. Oh, good.

"The honey chicken was orange? So orange it stained everything it touched. Also had pineapples in it? Never had honey chicken be bland and have pinapples. This was our first order from here. Egg rolls were also over cooked, had black parts on them."

"I ordered the hibachi steak dinner around 3 pm today. I tried eating but I just can't. My fried rice and steak (which was supposed to be medium-rare) were overcooked. My steak was well done. And my vegetables were undercooked. Not to mention I paid an extra 2 dollars for extra mushrooms and got none with my food. I usually love this place for my food and excuse the overcooked steak as it usually is overlooked because the rest tastes fine. But today was horrible and if I didn't need to be at work soon I would have gone back and asked for a refund. I'm very disappointed."

"We were very happy with our meals here. I had a coconut curry with tofu and it was one of the best I have ever had. we also had the portabello mushroom with artichokes and parsnip puree. yummy. the service was fantastic and the restaurant was cozy in an historic building downtown. we drove 50 minutes to get there a difference it was worth it."

"We are new in the area and were stopped by some of the elements on the menu and for lunch on Christmas Eve. That was a very good decision. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the brunch menu was full of stuff I would like to have ordered. I ordered the regular menu a shrimp chorizo burger with onion rings, and my wife ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich from the Brunch menu. Both sandwiches were excellent. The Monte Cristo was perfectly deep roasted golden brown with exactly the right melting quality. It was so big, we could have shared it and was okay. The shrimp chorizo Burger was exactly what I was hoping it would be. The chorizo Patty was crispy, a little salty and had a little heat. It was covered with small, whole spiced shrimp and finished with a small cream cheese, salad and tomatoes. It was decadent, spicy and creamy at once. The tempura broken onion rings were also perfectly cooked, but desperately need salt, which is best used directly from the fryer, unlike the table. The only ones, and I just think smaller glitters were very slow food service (which I write to the holiday) and a too cold design coming from the doorstep. The restaurant would benefit very much from a small vestibule on the door to keep the cold air from browsing through the dining room when someone enters or exits. Overall we were very happy to find really good food and friendly service in our new backyard!"
