"We really enjoyed our visit to this historic diner. The waitress was very nice and accommodating even tho we arrived only 15 minutes before closing time. Eating was very good, and we both said if we were working in the city center, we could see eating there every day. We did not only eat dinner, but ordered another dinner as we live a few hours away. The prices were amazingly low."

Stopped here for breakfast and am so glad that I did! The food is amazing with very reasonable prices. Also our very attentive, friendly server is one of the main reasons i will definitely be eating here again.

Prices were extremely affordable and staff was very friendly. Waitress said they were know for their burgers, but we ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese and a BBQ plate. Both were beyond excellent! Anyone visiting Cullman should check them out.

I just returned in time! I had used her cheeseburger with a meat patty mixed with bread as old timed diners. I haven't been in the bee for over 20 years, so it was a real treat. The riders were good and the customer service was great. If you like diners with only good ole cooking, this is the place to go.

"While the place was immaculately clean, the location and parking was convenient, and the employees were all pretty friendly, the food prices were astronomical for the portion size and the fact that it was just thawed items like you'd find at an Applebee's, only significantly more expensive in a rural town. The staff was sweet enough, but it was clear they weren't used to having single women come to the bar and order a single drink with lunch on a weekday. (I was clocked out and on the way to a funeral; one watered down gin and tonic wasn't about to put me under the table, heads up. In their defense, people in downtown Bham give you a crazy look doing that, too, so I take it that's just a southern culture thing. I can't say enough about how tiny the portions were. For $20, I got about 6 bites of salmon, some (pretty much canned mushrooms, and one piece of measly broccoli I managed to cut into exactly 4 pieces and try to savor. To say I left there unsatisfied is the understatement of the year. I'm sure if you're just going for a drink (not a mixed one, unless they watered it down because they thought I was a lightweight and to watch a game, it might be a worthwhile place.
