"The gardening and landscape are absolutely stunning. We wished we had arrived earlier to enjoy looking at everything. The food and service were nothing remarkable. There were a lot of hosts, but not enough wait staff. Maybe we just caught them on an off night? The drinks were very good and so were the ahi nachos (I will highly recommend these). The main course, however, was underwhelming. We both ordered the chef special, swordfish, and found it to be okay. The dessertsalso fell flat for us. We tried the pineapple upside-down cake and the floating islands, but found both to be just okay. The food is quality and the prices are reasonable, but we had higher expectations to be wowed by the foo...

Phenomenal! Great scenery, food, and staff. The ambiance of Cafe O?Lei was amazing. Food was reasonable priced and everything was delicious. This was easily one of the best places to eat at in Hawaii. I definitely recommend eating here!

Beautiful location and beautiful scenery around. The restaurant is surrounded by a plantation and there are a lot of different types of vegetation around. The food is also tasty. We ordered the pork bao and crab cakes and it was super delicious. The pork belly entree was very dry and did not meet our expectations. The cocktails were not that great though.

We enjoyed our visit here. But I confess- we didn't even really come for the food. The grounds here and resulting ambiance are beautiful. It's just a great place to sit back and relax and enjoy a good meal. So, while we didn't come for the food, the food was also pretty good. They do very well executed, maybe a bit pricey, dishes. Not special- but the entire experience makes it worth it. Overall, we had a very nice time here.

"We were looking for late lunch after a drive up to Haleakala and saw the reviews for My Thai. Although it is unusual in concept, once we were seated and the host explained the process, it was a fun adventure. The menu and all dishes ordered were amazing. Do not miss the orange chicken bao bun. We ordered a wide variety of dishes and all of them were excellent. Our only quibble is with an online menu accessed on our iPhones by QR code. Although we have eaten in restaurants with the same process-and honestly do not like it- this one was a little better designed but didn’t download in the same way on all our phones so we had some trouble putting together an order for three people. with disparate displays). Once that was successfully done, one’s meal is announced on mic and left on a counter for the customer to pick up. All plates are prepared as for takeout so paper containers, paper towels for napkin, etc. Overall, it’s takeout that must be ordered onsite. Tables are spaced far apart, in an open garage so very Covid compliant. So; novel concept with an amazing menu and food."

"this morning came to the breakfast here to the mill house and then dinner for the birthday of my dad. the staff was incredibly friendly and very welcoming and eating was incredible. we had the ube pancakes, pork belly hash, crabcake benedict and avocado toast to breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. the evening meal was also wonderful. the prime rib and slow cooked lamb shank were very well seasoned and everything was honest. the drinks were incredible, especially the waikspy mule and the aloha maid. this restaurant gets two thumbs from me!"

"We stopped here quickly on the way to the airport, but I wish we found this place before we get home. I loved the place so much that I wanted to give them a review, even though we are home. I got the philly steak sandwich and my wife got the truthahnclub. they were both full of taste and the pommes were fantastic. the price was also great. do not let them deter them easily. they will love eating, service and price."

"the best at this point is that it is directly from surf truck rentals and a car part store. I wish I had gone earlier. it is comfortable and definitely charming with the look. the food had generous portions, especially for the pieces of meat. there are many places available. the coffee offers were brewed and espresso based, so I was also satisfied with it. if they prefer to return here in comparison with Dennys and ihop. they close in the early afternoon, so plan accordingly."

"Atmosphere was cool, lots of history hanging up on the walls to look at. everything on the menu sounded good, However for $4.50 plus tax for a slice of deluxe I was underwhelmed. It wasn't bad but I would describe it as eh good enough if your really hungry and nothing else is available. Save yourself a few bucks and just get a slice of cheese."
