"My husband and I went to Cafe Testarossa two months ago and again two weeks ago we go quite often and this review is way overdue. It’s great. Anna (I believe is the manager and if she’s not she should be) greets you with a smile when you walk in and happily takes you to your table. We were there on a Saturday night around 7:30 and it was extremely busy. Anna is amazing she stepped right in and helped the wait staff. She took drink orders, brought food, checked on tables to see if anyone needed anything. The waitresses and waiters are excellent too. One less star for on line reservations said only table available was 4pm, But there were many open tables from 4 7 pm while we were there. Okay now to the good part, this place is a classic Italian Restaurant, fancy, nice place with excellent prepared dishes, superb service and everything is always delish! We had the Halibut and it was out of this world (highly recommend). But first the apps; crabcakes w/shrimp added a nice little twist from traditional, clams oregano sweet small lots of flavor, calamari tender just what you would expect. Drinks include an Italian beer haven't seen anywhere else (see pic) sangria Italian style is a refreshing version too. Another main entree was the Scallops...

"eating was perfect from start to end. that was worth unbelievable for what they give you. we started with tomato and mozzarella, which was delicious and they topped it with fresh basilikum and sun dried tomato. my son got the maple bacon 3 lg discs that were incredible! next curse I got the surf and rasen that were worth the $10 charged. my son has charged the 18oz porter house steak for 10 dollars. both steaks were perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth. I ordered brokkoli w garlic and oil and my sohn got a huge basket of truffle friries. both sides were enough for 3 people. dessert was amazing. we have cheesecake and chocolate cakes that were both delicious. the bread basket was also amazing. can not wait to return because this is an amazing deal (price fix Sun-Wed.) so glad that we decided to go."

"Over priced and just average. For $200 a couple nothing less than great should be said about that experience. But it was not. We ordered steak medium rare. It arrived more medium and because it’s in a sizzling hot plate with the juices it continues to cook.  Service was very good."

"just adding to address the response. I do take back that you didn't offer an apology, you did. Sorry. However, our conversation and your response still do not address my chief complaint , which was not that your portion sizes were too large but that the person that picked up the phone should have suggested we had too much food and maybe we should cut back on one or tow portion sizes, especially since I made it clear how unsure I was and was looking for her guidance. That is the crux of my issue. i have been a regular patron for decades, by dining in or in some or in this case ordered in. i asked the receptionist for some guidance for 6 people, telling her we wanted 6-7 dishes. We were 6 people with average appetites and half the food is leftover. i understand that 1.5 orders feeds 4-6 people but what the receptionist should have told me once she knew we were ordering that many dishes we should have ordered less dishes ordered the single size portion in some if not all cases. Case in point, she suggested 2 full size trays of garlic bread (which was horrible btw) and 3/4 of it was left over. I unnecessarily spent an exorbitant amount of money on a 6 person meal, trusted the receptionist and should have received better guidance when ordering that many things. when i called back 2 days later to express my feelings to the manager, he basically offered me a refund for the garlic bread, not taking any responsibility for being totally misguided. LP has been doing this for decades and should KNOW that the more the dishes, cut back on the portion sizes...... Had i received a bit more of a token gesture and a small apology, you wouldn't be reading this review. DG"

"LIEBEEE THIS PLACE! Hands down the BEST CHINESE FOOD and the restaurant inside is LOVE!!! like a REAL restaurant!! Beautiful decor and ambience!! The staff is always so nice and friendly!! Our Go-to Menu Ideas are walnut sauce, black pepper fillet with mushrooms and shrimp with lobster sauce! If my Hunnnies and I want a little use with order a lot toooo much, we also get the Chow Fun as an additional dinner! For apps, I usually get the hot and sour soup, my Hunnnnies gets the egg drop bandton mix and we get the house Shumai, reserve ribs, chickens salad cases And of course Lychee Martinis!! We also have the truffle fillet for a dinner that is also excellent! We always say we will try new things, but love our Go-to articles so much we really don't! RECOMMENDATIONS if you are looking for a really nice Chinese restaurant with great food!!! You will not be disappointed!!"
