"My mom and I went after a funeral. We both just needed a minute to relax nibble on something she has been wanting some seafood. We were greeted when we came in, the cashier was very pleasant and there was another lady there that would pop out when she seem me needing something and help me rather quickly . Which I found great. The meal was good and the place was clean. So over all if I could give a 10 I would. Thanks for the great service ladies."

I came to this place 3 times (once at 8 a.m. and another time at 8:05, another at 8:15) despite closing st 10 pm, they have NIE grilled fish after L 347 of 20.12.2013, p. 1). No explanation. Is there a shutdown time to order barbecue fish for the day?

The food ordered last night wasn't good, so I called and take to the manager Tinesha and she told me to come in so I did she personally remade the food herself and threw in a few extra and a desert... That made it awesome and will have me as a continuing customer. I drive there from Yulee

Tinesha.. -if that’s who took our order today- was awesome. She had the most pleasant and friendly voice in a fast food drive thru. The food… hardly made it til we got to 295. It was amazing. I will definitely be back. Great customer service and great food! Thank you for your sweet hospitality.

"The stellar team at Matthews made our anniversary a night we will never forget! The food was delicious and artfully crafted, and the flavors of each dish were enhanced by Jess’ cocktail and wine pairings. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the food, wine, , drinks and history of not only restaurant but Jacksonville itself, without being pretentious. So many little details I never noticed were missing in other restaurants made for an exquisite experience. From the hostess to the manager, every member of the staff seemed invested in our anniversary like we were part of the family. No rushing or disingenuous check ins, I felt like we were honored guests being doted on in her home. As if the soufflé wasn’t amazing enough, she had the chef and entire staff sign our specialized menu, and gave us a detailed list of other things to do and experience when we visit Jacksonville to suit our tastes and interests. We’ve lived just an hour away for years now, and kick ourselves for not finding out about this gem sooner. We cannot wait to come back!"

"We had a roof terrace reservation and sat immediately. For a starter we shared the Maple Bacon Crullers. The crossers were light and had a sweet cinnamon butter taste, which was a great base for the maple frozen and bacon above. Our Entrees were the Black Sheep Club with Pommes and (2) steak and eggs. The club sandwich was huge, but my daughter enjoyed every bite. Our steaks and eggs were cooked and perfectly seasoned. The captivating potatoes were delicious from the softening of the Buerre Rouge. Every part of our culinary experience here was excellent. The ambience, food and service will be back soon."

"we had a group of 11 participants hamilton, and the staff immediately took us and made sure that all our requests were met and we were served in time. our table had a lot of selections the filet, ahi thunfisch, chicken piccata, lamb, escargot, scallops, lobsterbisque, goat cheese and kily salads, etc. and everything was seasoned and cooked for perfection! we will eat there again!"

"I visited this restaurant in January to celebrate my birthday, but the server forgot to input our orders until we had been waiting for an hour. No compensation was offered for the mistake. I decided to give it another chance for a special occasion on a Wednesday evening, but the server was rude and made us feel like an inconvenience. This used to be my favorite spot, but unfortunately, things have changed. Hopefully they will improve their staff soon."
