"This place is charming and good for a special occasion shower or girl's birthday. We ordered the Afternoon Tea. The sandwiches and scones were delicious and good size. The dessert was missing a tiny macaron I swear was frozen from a big department store and a sad little cookie from a cardboard box. No tiny treats or teacakes. Nothing else. This was my 2nd visit here and I wanted to try again because it was the end of Covid last time, still disappointed by the offered contracts. Tea is treated as much about imagination as anything else. They also slashed on cream jam and the server never came back to the table so that we could ask for more (we were the only people there so it was not busy)....

just perfect for tea parties or any gatherings. it's peaceful and quiet with a wide variety of tea blends. the service is on the slower side but they are always polite and welcoming.

The Chado Tea room is a perfect place to get together with friends or to throw a bridal shower or baby shower. It’s all ready decorated with fancy teapots and tea cups saucers on shelves around the room. Went with a friend and unfortunately we were sat in a new servers area. He did not bring our soup, salad nor cream and sugar. He never came back after pouring our tea. I had to go up to the counter to ask for someone to bring our missing items and water. The server that took over did a wonderful job. The tea and food were great as usual but that server really needs to be retrained. Highly recommend this spot cute location, convenient, and free parking for 2 hours.

"Gaetano's is the best Italian restaurant in the South Bay. The food is always excellent. The specials are interesting and delicious. The flavor is so intense you find yourself eating too fast because you want to fill your mouth with the fantastic taste. The squash ravioli is out of this world. "Fantastic place. The calamari is perfectly battered and tender, and the hint of wine in the mussels really make the appetizer memorable; we had to ask for more bread just for that sauce. Handmade pastas are so delicious. We had lasagna, the bolognese and the strozzapreti. They are flavorful, rich and comforting and you can’t stop smiling as you eat them. All the dishes are prepared with great detail. We also had the pana cotta, tiramisu and cheesecake for dessert. The wait staff are friendly and professional. They would be a top contender if there is such a competition. I have no idea why this place doesn’t have a Michelin star; it should."

"Absolutely delicious food. I've been there multiple times and everything I've eaten has been amazing. Staff is always happy, helpful, and courteous even when I bring three kids under 4 with me. Great place and I highly recommend!!"

"Went to the store to purchase fresh coffee beans. Most of the stock was from two or three weeks ago. They do get a fresh shipment every Wednesday, but the barista would not make the effort to locate the new produce. They preferred to refund me my money instead of opening up a fresh bag since it would ruin the experience for other customers. Said I should coordinate with the manager so I can get fresh coffee. Alfred Peet's would be very disappointed with this response, the refund and a customer having to leave without the fresh coffee they are suppose to be selling. Barista needs to be trained to help customers find the freshes coffee and have the best experience. Manager needs to learn how to order and reduce the coffee stock. The over ordering has coffee that is three weeks old on the floor."

"Rascal's is locally famous for their Chinese Chicken Salad. I've been coming to this location for over 20 years, and even used to bring friends. Now I rarely do. It seems that while they are raising their prices, they are lessening the value of what you get. While charging more for your meals, they seem to be be cutting the amount of chicken and other things in their salad, while expanding the amount of cheap lettuce to act as as a filler. I understand that costs go up, but it barely seems like a chicken salad anymore. The cost isn't really worth it and I don't think I'll be back."
