"I have dined at this restaurant several times before and have always enjoyed the good food and friendly service. However, during my most recent visit, my House Egg Foo Young Gravy was sour! Despite the great service as usual, I was disappointed by the quality of the food. I ordered my meal a little after 8pm on a Friday night and paid just over $15, receiving an extra cup of gravy. The dining experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The fried rice was hard and dry, with no pea sprouts available. The wings were small and lacking in flavor. The sushi roll was also subpar. Overall, it was a waste of calories and a terrible experience.

The food is okay at this restaurant, I've been coming here since they opened over 20 years ago. It seems like there are new owners now. However, I was extremely disappointed by the filthy state of the lobby area. With the tables and chairs removed, it was clear that the floor had not been swept or mopped in a long time. As I was leaving, I noticed a corner filled with spider webs, bugs, and overall filth. I will not be returning to this restaurant. The community deserves better and should demand higher standards of cleanliness.

"southern sweets was my favorite vegan dessert that I've ever had. the strawberry cake and the German chocolate should die and if they need a cake quickly, they can get a vegan cake day and /or stop it in for a disc. the only warning I have as someone who has tried almost all vegan cake here is that the caramel cake is too dry and too sweet, so I do not recommend it."

"Will definitely go back! This was mine and my sisters first experience here along with our Dad, who'd been here many times. We said we'd like to bring our individual families here to experience it too. We all had the Italian beef sandwiches. Our Dad had his dipped and we had au jus on the side. Dad had fries and we had the onion rings. Those were the best onion rings but I wish they gave you a few more especially with the upcharge. The fries were fresh and hot as well. Highly recommend, I wish they were closer and want to try other menu options. Great first impressions! 3/29/24 Skip's doesn't disappoint. I'm more disappointed in myself for not trying their chili dog yet! I went there specifically for one and I got curfuffled by the lest side menu and totally missed the other two! But, I got the Italian beef with bell peppers instead of hot peppers this time with onion rings. All on point and worth it. I'll absolutely be going back for that chili dog though!"

"Alot of people may not be familiar with Venezuela food and I ordered an incorrect item. I asked if it was possible to change my order being it was my first time there. Clerk responded no and that I need to make sure what im ordering is correct. For the price I paid I would expect some kind of accommodations. Being Hispanic I know a lot of the food material is not that pricing for a rejection. It is not a good reputation to the public. "I used to like this place but this was my last time coming here. There is a new asian man working there who claims to be the ' ' manager ' ' who was CLEARLY hitting on my underage daughter. Absolutely disgusting. He kept trying to talk to her while she waited for our food I was sitting in the car so she came back and told me she was uncomfortable waiting at the store because the man was asking her things like are you single and saying that she was very pretty and looked ' ' very healthy ' ' whatever that means. I went to the store to confront him and he wasn 't there so I asked the cashier to call him but he ignored me. Let me clarify I did not make a scene I just asked to speak with the manager. When I was leaving the store I saw the asian man again so I tried to talk to him but he interrupted me and said if nothing is wrong with your food just leave very rude and unprofessional. Food isn 't everything bad service ruins a restaurant too."

"Our server was a brilliant example of customer service. She was attentive, humorous and fast. She expected our needs excellent. When our food arrived, we were impressed. I grilled the beef cheese and exchanged the Musenster cheese with her spirit pepper cheese. It burned well. They are very generous with the meat in their sandwiches and their black peppers are delicious. In the words of my companion, these pommes are a dream. I tried his phillie and it was so good that I became almost jealous. Next time I will try the grilled cheese with the Münster as it is on the menu. This place definitely goes into the hole in the wall category because it is so inconceivable and easily overlooked when you pass. But I'll tell you this pub is worth the stop. Make yourself and your appetite a favor and come to see the nice people in Brockett Pub while they will give you a 5-star menu you will never forget."
