"This is our favorite place to go to town. We live in the neighborhood and found this place a few years ago when we started dating. We brought both of our families here and often come here to drink our favorite wine Dreaming Tree. We noticed that every time we eat here, we had the same waitress. So we mentioned it to her and she said she recognized us. This beautiful woman is AMY T and I just had to write a review about her. We always get the best service and she makes us feel it is our first time there. What a professional and friendly woman. Thank you. Amy forever our experience in Merril Houston an amazing!!"

"Placed a to go order, went and picked it for myself and two coworkers. The order was wrong and called Neli, within 10 minutes he was at my place of employment, not only did he make the order right but offered us additional items at no charge and could not have handled it anymore professional!! The food was excellent as always and we will be back!!"

"My partner and I thoroughly enjoy our Velvet Buffalo experience, start to finish. Entering through Goodwin Hotel, we were greeted by cheerful, welcoming Staff, and quickly directed to receptionist for check-in. We then went up to The Rooftop and enjoyed a cocktail, expertly prepared by one of the several cordial bar tenders. We’d have preferred to enjoy a pub table but the only two were occupied, so we sat at the bar rather than the low box-like seating. Dining experience was terrific, again (this was our 2nd “date night” at Velvet Buffalo). Service was prompt and expertly done. Having studied the menu on-line, ordering was easy and fast. From appetizer to our dessert and coffee, the dining was delightful, again. Eye appeal of all the dishes was beautiful. Aromas flavors of our entrees were delightful, and portions are generous, we thought. “Wait time” for all our courses was terrific…expertly timed. Empty dishes disappeared quickly and water never slipped below half a glass. Through the entire meal, our server was prompt, cordial, and knowledgeable. She made us feel like highly valued guests! My Lady and I heartily recommend the Velvet Buffalo dining experience."

"Bogus as hell. Before I made my call I asked them if they were still taking orders for delivery and they said yes. Took my order. I even called them back to let their driver know when they come my apartment Is upstairs and they said ok. 30 to 40 mins for my delivery is now an 1 and a half hours later and still no delivery. Now they are closed."
