"This place is incredible. This was my first trip to Virginia Beach and my first time at this restaurant/bar. I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted and welcomed by the bartender/ part owner Mark. He made the entire experience great. He was very helpful with my choices in meals and my drinks were on point! The seafood was obviously fresh and cooked perfectly but the real surprise was the ny strip. We love this location, it’s definitely my favorite. It’s always great food service. 10/10 would recommend. I love the outside seating, you can feel the saltwater breeze on a sunny day… it’s perfect. Today we got the burgers which were delicious, but I also LOVE their Buffalo shrimp appetizer. Lumpia is also tasty, love the crunch flavor.

Good Brunch. Generally I go here for drinks when I'm at the oceanfront. Last weekend I happened to order the eggs benedict from their brunch menu. It wowed me enough to get on here and write a review about it. Very good. My girlfriend got to make her own omlet and though she made some very poor decisions on what to put in it, I was impressed by the options available.

Based on other reviews, we had very high hopes on zoës, and that might have influenced our experience, we might have expected too much. first I would like to say that the personal was friendly, attentive and familiar with the menu; our soak glasses never ran dry under their wakeful eyes. I have nothing bad to say about their performance. our appetizers were of mixed quality. the lob pops bacon wrapped hummer chunks on beats, in batter and fried were delicious, and disappeared in a flash; we all wished there was more. the ahi poke was disappointing, and nothing like the delicious Hawaiian version: it was finely cut thunfish, with a slightly fish taste...read more"

"We sat in the outdoor dining area and people next to us were talking so loud it sounded like yelling. The inside dining room was better with noise levels. We started with the shrimp and pork dumplings. They were really tasty. I ordered the 48 hour beef short rib dinner and my dinner partner had the lamb shank dinner. Both were just okay. The lamb shank was smothered in mole sauce which was too overpowering to taste the flavor of the lamb. The short rib was charred on the outside and didn’t taste like there was any seasoning on it at all. The Lima bean salad side dish was kinda weird to serve with the steak and was so so. The mango crème brûlée was pretty good, but had more of a pudding consistency rather than custard. Don’t plan on returning to this restaurant again."
