The atmosphere and warmth HB had all the possibilities makes such a great place to start new friendship and cultivate old ones. Many of the dear friends I have today came from sitting coffee or tea on the veranda and play back guitar the day. This day HB is still a place where I can connect to new and old friends. "This place is a good bang for your ass! It is quite cheap for the amount of food you get, especially during lunch! Depending on how much you eat, you can completely share a meal. It is fast food, but freshened when you order. I think it's a fast food from Hibachi!"

"I was in House Blend Coffee Bar over the street and happened on this new pizza place in Main Street in downtown Dickson, so I went in. They were very busy. I ordered to go: an appetizer of homemade meatballs in Marinara sauce, and Mediterranean salad w/ oil/ vinegar dressing. I ordered the food at 5:50, so the checkout said at about 6:00. A bunch of people went into the door, sat down and served. I wait outside in my truck to warm the engine on the frigid night 14 degrees, and went back at 18:25, and informed the checkout about the order. She went and took my salad and the meatballs. There were 4 large meatballs in appetizer for 7.00, and the recipe was boiled from scratch, so I ordered a 2nd appetizer next to the side salad. When I came home, I decided that 1 appetizer is enough for a meal because the food is rich and delicious. The salad was premium, fresh potashmoto olives, cherry tomatoes, red onions, artichokes. The quality of the food is just on the street with the more expensive restaurant Lugo's. I will return because I noticed that they create their own salad that is perfect. You have an extensive local brewery beer list, looking forward to the test. Maybe the server personnel need a little fine tuning on their training, but they were exceptionally friendly and helpful."

"We were completely delighted by Lugo's. The menu provided adequate variety without being too extensive to be taken seriously and had some interesting choices. The steamed mussel opener was fabulous and we later regretted not bringing the remaining broth home with us to experiment with. The salads (my wife had Caesar, I had spinach) were simple but the house made dressings were excellent--well made and balanced without trying too hard. We loved the main courses, too. My wife had the chicken cordon-bleu which was succulent without being too rich. I had the shrimp and andouille with cheese grits which was excellent with just the right touch of heat. For dessert we shared a cheesecake, which was rich and flavorful without being too sweet. The service was world class. Our waitress (Kim) was very friendly, always appeared JUST at the right time and anticipated our wishes as if she could read our minds. The courses were timed perfectly, too. What can I say? It's our new favorite place."
