"My friend and I took a day trip to Cape Charles. After walking the trails in Kiptopeke Park, we wanted to get something easy for lunch. She had looked up this place and suggested some grab and go sandwiches and I was all for it.The sandwiches are $9 and I had the HARDEST time choosing just one. They all looked and sounded so delicious. I went with the Tazewell, which they stated was their best seller. The staff was so friendly, talking me through the sandwiches and daily prep. Their sandwiches are delicious. Take them to go and enjoy lunch sitting in the park, at the beach or on a park bench along Mason Avenue. It is located in Table and Tonic, a store that provides a variety of goods for home entertaining.

What a disappointment. I stopped in to buy some food for our lunch and they had only a few sandwiches and a large tub of pimento cheese left. I had gone the day before and bought a Caesar salad and a small Greek pasta salad because that was all they had. Neither were remarkable. When I said I'd come back to get sandwiches and a Greek salad the person working said we won't be making Greek salads. Essentially you're out of luck or come earlier. I'm not sure I'd depend on this as a lunch option when I come in the future. Luckily more options are popping up around town.

"Stopped in for some take-out lunch in Cape Charles on my way driving through DelMarVa. Intrigued by the authentic décor and charming ambiance, I took a chance that the food would also excel. The young woman behind the counter couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful. Gave me some suggestions. Later, parked by a scenic sea view, I discovered how tasty my cranberry chicken salad plate (box? and iced tea were. I’d most certainly pay a return visit if I’m ever in the area again."

"Great work with all your beers! We could try everything except the Peach St Wheat and were not disappointed. I can’t decide between the agriturismo or the Heffin’ fairy tale for my favorites, so we brought some herbs home for additional taste tests. Hubby is a hop head (and a bit of a beer snob) and also found a lot to enjoy. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was well and beautifully presented. I wish we didn't have to pay the CBBT toll to come to you, but we'll be back during our travels."

"The food was amazing and the atmosphere was chill. Definitely worth 5 stars. The food was so good and the prices where very reasonable. I’m not from Virginia but I would definitely make a 6 hour drive just to come here."

"Get a real sense of place here. Clearly staffed by locals, you feel welcomed into this waterman’s world. The decor of unpainted wood, concrete, corn hole boards, and local photos. The bathrooms are very clean and a welcomingly cool spot on a hot day. Our food was fresh and tasty, definitely connecting our palates with the Bay. Be sure to order some Shanty Fries. They’ve got something special they’ve created there. The flavoring is subtle and an unexpected delight. The background music and crowd noise creates a hum that can make it difficult to hear if your group is larger than four. If so, the deck dining is breezy and lovely."

"What a great spot! Super service by a super cute waitress, tremendous ambiance, great food. We split the spicy ahi tuna sashimi. Sharon had the espresso honey rack of lamb, cooked to perfection and I had a very well prepared beef tenderloin. Wine selection was good, they made us decaf with coffee liquor to go with our in house prepared dessert before we headed out into the cold, dark and rainy night."
