"Whenever I am in the area, I always make an effort to stop at DVS. Yesterday was no exception, except this time I had my 6 year old and 9 week old with me for lunch. We ordered the strawberry milkshake and the server gave us the extra in a small cup for my son, so we didnt have to share, which made for a very happy kiddo. It was delicious! The server was also kind enough to bring some paper and a pen to occupy my oldest while we waited for our food. I ordered the tofu catfish plate and my son ordered the almond nut butter and jelly sandwich. We didn't have to wait too long for our food. Obviously my 6 year old was not going to eat his food because the crust was still on there. But we shared...

I recently made my transition to a plant-based diet; this was the first place I tried after making my transition and I must say DVS did not disappoint! The wait for a table was kind of long but so worth it! I will definitely be coming back!

This restaurant is amazing! The menu had creative vegan variations on classic soul staples. Ambiance and aesthetic were on point. the service was impeccable. Friendly, but not intrusive. As well as extremely fast service. Any foodie in the area interested in a progressive vegan menu needs to check this place out.

I had lunch here yesterday for the first time, and I absolutely loved it! I got the bbq tofu with potato salad. It was divine! And I would love to know what was on the steamed kale on the side... it tasted sort of buttery and salty and amazing! I would love to be able to re-create that kale at home. I also got a slice of lemon cake to go. I fully enjoy the fact that they make everything fresh and in house. We really need more vegan restaurants. 10/10 I would recommend this place to anyone, even if you’re not vegan and are just looking for a healthy meal.
