"Driving from the Oregon coast back to Denver and we were starving. After first finding fuel for the car, we needed to fill up ourselves! It looked like Lakeview would have the most options that would be open later at night. Burger Queen had great reviews, minus a few cranky people who seemed to be mad about the myriad societal failings, none of which was actually the quality of this restaurant. We got a double cheese burger, the hot and juicy burger, fries to share, and we each got a shake. It was exactly what you’d want from a local burger joint delicious and hit the spot. Staff was very friendly, even as they were working on closing up for the night (arrived 30 min before close . I especially appreciated the art on the walls back by the bathroom (I was trying to find an artist name! The restaurant was incredibly clean and bright. Overall, highly recommended if you’re passing through."

"I 'm sure all the five star reviews are from locals, but this spot is a hard pass from me. Person taking orders and running food was rude, complained about not being able to hear because it 's loud, but the only music in the place was cranked up in the kitchen area, couldn 't hear it from the seating. Ordered a Pepsi, apparently wasn 't charged for it, how am I supposed to know? Oh by a rude you ain 't supposed to have soda in those cups, only water. The meat on the burgers was gamey, and the place was full of flies. I will definitely not be back.EDIT: I Reviewed my receipt to submit it for my expenses and we WERE IN FACT CHARGED FOR THE FIRST PEPSI. Thanks for double charging us, you 're great."

"Stopped in at The Dinner Bell on our drive to Bend, OR. We ordered two veggie scrambles, one with hash browns and the other with country potatoes. And our daughter ordered a small cheese pizza. The scrambles were good with lots of veggies and covered with a lot of cheese. Country potatoes were the best fresh, hot and delicious. The pizza was just okay and great for pizza loving kids. The waitstaff gal was nice, hardworking and efficient. Lots of other diners came in, as well as locals too. Cute place."
