"We were passing through Munising on our way to a kayak tour in the area. We stopped at ByGeorge or a quick drink hoping they might have something vegan (even just fries or a snack). We were pleasantly surprised to see they had a vegan chicken salad sandwich listed on their menu, and although they were out of it when we arrived, the staff was happy to make their portobello mushroom panini vegan by removing the cheese and aioli and adding sauerkraut and vegan mayo. The sandwich was delicious!"

"We came in for dinner on a beautifully sunny, busy Sunday night. They were busy but kept the line moving. Got a salad, two pizzas, water and iced tea. We sat outside with our two dogs and only waited about 10 minutes for the pies to come out. We ordered the Mediterranean and a Pepperoni but were delicious!"

"we had the veggie hummus sandwich and it was good. could maybe use something spicy. happy as a celiac that she asked if gluten-free allergy or preference was. they use the little northen bakehouse gf brot, which is also vegan. friendly staff. all workers exposed (covid). I recommend getting the food to go and foot in the beautiful park on the water."

"Without a doubt this was the best meal I 've ever been served in the U.P. Everything from the tasteful décor and beautiful birdseye maple tables, to professional and caring servers was strikingly excellent. Then there was the food. The appetizers and entrees were something one would only see in a magazine. Not only was the presentation, seasoning, and preparation truly first class, every single ingredient was fresh. Portions were perfect, even for a glutton like me. I can 't remember the last time I ordered dessert. Last night though I had room and asked for the Campfire. Whew. I was already anticipating greatness when our server said it would take a few minutes. That could only mean built from scratch with fresh stuff. My only regret is having only five stars to give. We 'll be back."
