This place is really really good. Service was A+ (thanks Gaspar! . Food was delicious and the prices are reasonable. If you're in the Cartersville area and you're craving Mexican food, this place is a must! UPDATE: We went again a few times after the first review and yep, confirmed, the food is always good!

Short wait, friendly service, and good food are indications of a great dining experience and our dinner last night had all 3 indicators at El Charro .. portions were just right and tasted fantastic from the chips and Queso to our entrees including Shredded Chicken Super Burrito, Quesadilla Grande, and Chicken Chimichanga all for under $60 .. if you are looking for a good Mexican dinner, El Charro Mexican Grill will not disappoint

My husband I drove almost 30min to check this place out and it was so worth it! We had the molcajete and it was absolutely amazing . So full of flavor ! The chicken and meat were so tender. Our server Vicky was so friendly and overall the service and atmosphere was awesome. Our food was out in no more than 15 minutes so idk why people are complaining about slow service. I 've waited longer for 'fast food '. I highly recommend this place!
