"We have been aware of the El Nopal restaurant in the Louisville area for years, but only recently decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a great discovery. As soon as we saw the sign on the door offering daily aguas frescas, we knew we were in the right place. My wife and I went with another couple and tried various items from the menu. We were not disappointed! One standout dish was the chilaquiles verde, a dish we had first tried in Mexico City but had not yet become popular in Kentucky. The staff created a wonderful and cheerful atmosphere. This restaurant is definitely a must-visit spot."
