"This restaurant has a beautiful interior, and the food is always fresh. However, the lack of a drive-thru is a significant drawback for me. Their breakfast meals are about $1 more than other McDonald's locations. Parking in the busy downtown area of Elizabeth can be quite challenging during working hours, which only adds to the inconvenience. With higher prices, no available parking, and the absence of a drive-thru, they only managed to earn 2 stars from me."

"This place offers a Delightful and authentic Brazilian cuisine snack. It is a clean pleasant place with calm fresh atmosphere. I had “Coxinha” and “Bolinho de aipim com carne moída”. The dough was tasty, not oily at all, light and pleasant: no heartburn after eating them, making these options a great snack before flight.Also, the açai bowl is just fantastic, with humongous amounts of toppings available.Last but not least, the environment and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It is incredibly close to EWR airport (like 5 min drive!)Congrats to the team!"

"A staple of fine dining in Elizabeth since 1989, Valença has served as the premier location for business lunches and Newark Airport layover dinners. The name refers to to Valença, Portugal, not Valencia, Spain. The menu is reflective of Portuguese, Spanish, and American/European influence. The restaurant is quite spacious, and has two entrances. On their side entrance, they offer a take-out and casual dining area, as well as a churrasqueira. The front entrance is where you 'll find the fancier, white table-cloth dining room, which is quite spacious and decorated with chandeliers. Although steak is not a widely popular dish in Portugal, Valenca is most known their 'steak on a stone ' dish. Their shrimp in garlic or their Portuguese chorizo appetizer are excellent places to start. As it 's a local Portuguese restaurant, they get their seafood from a local fish market, and you can 't go wrong with many of their seafood options. They offer a variety of Portuguese wines as well as a house-made sangria. The service is always excellent, and as expected, Valenca is arguably the best Portuguese restaurant and best choice for fine-dining in Elizabeth. They have a parking lot located directly across the street, plus street parking isn 't too hard to find in this area of North Elizabeth."

"We went last night for my mother in laws birthday and it was amazing. We got there at 5:30 on a Saturday. It was all amazing, food was delicious, hot, and simply perfect. We were a party of 9 and the service was 100% on point with all our needs and waiters were very nice and friendly. Also made sure we were good and our drink were filled to the top. I have been here before and it never disappoints, food and service is consistent. I recommend Spanish Tavern to all for all occasion or just because. Thank you Spanish Tavern for a amazing night, see you soon!!! P.s. cappuccino's were so good too!!"
