"This place was awesome! We had no idea what to expect but decided to give it a try. My wife and I shared a shrimp po boy. First they sent out a little cup of swamp soup, basically greens and beans, it was incredible. The taste was great. There was so much shrimp that splitting the sandwich wasn't a problem at all! After that, thy brought us each a little slice of cake that was so moist and delicious! We will def come back again!"

Best Burger around; the Cheese Burger and Patty Melt are tops. Put's a lot of places to shame. Cleaner that Desotos that's for sure........

I don't like to think of myself as a creature of habit but to be honest, when it comes to dining options in Foley I am.  It seems like I always visit at Lambert's Cafe, Home of the Thrown Rolls. But good news, I did break the chain and branched out.  My friend and I decided to try out Fish River Grill #2 on Highway 59.

Have always liked everything I've ever ordered here, until yesterday. I ordered the Redneck Reuben sandwich and didn't care for it. There was nothing wrong with it, just wasn't my idea of a Reuben. It had American cheese instead of Swiss, and there was no 1000 Island dressing on it. And the corned beef had been pan fried or something, as it was crunchy. Strange.

"We got 2 pizzas and the artichoke spinach dip on a Saturday night--everything was hot and delicious--by far the best spinach dip we've ever had. They were pretty busy but the staff was friendly and attentive. There's a good bit of background noise but we were too busy eating to worry about talking--food is spectacular."

"Stopped in to see what all the hype was about this place. Let me tell you. There is no other pizza that tastes like this pizza. The pizza was made fresh with all ingredients fresh too. The crust is the best. But also they have pretzels made from the same dough. Dont miss out. Stop in and give it a try. You won't be disappointed."

"This was our 3rd visit, the food has been fantastic every time. The 3 of us shared the cauliflower tuna tatare appetizers, both were excellent. Our daughter had a vege pizza enjoyed 1/2 of it. My wife had the tuna curry, couldn't stop raving about it. My choice was the duck, it too was well executed. This restaurant deserves to be in a larger city or at least closer to the beaches, where it could attract more tourists. Vegetarian options: The composition of dishes is listed so that one can choose those that don't contain any inappropriate items. No dishes could be considered vegan. Parking: Small gravel lot. I estimate about 20 spaces. Wheelchair accessibility: I don't remember specific spots marked for h'capped but none are far from the entrance. "Waited outside in line but it was about noon and it was a very quick moving line. Friendly people to talk with about their Lambert's experience. We were a little cramped at our table of 4 adults and 2 children. Sides were slow to come around and some came around. We finally ask our server for apple butter and sorghum. The rolls were the best, light, hot melt in your mouth delicious. I ordered the plate of sides, my husband got the chicken livers light, crunchy, not greasy. Best I have ever had. The chicken and dumplings were more like noodles than dumplings but had a good taste. The kid meals were chicken tenders and they were light and tender. The meatloaf was delicious. We didn't have dessert but we all left with leftovers. All the signs and antiques were fun to look at too. We bought 2 of those huge cinnamon rolls to have for breakfast the next morning and they did not disappoint. Plenty of icing with a light and flakey texture. All in all one of our favorite things about Gulf Shores."
