"I called Green Eggs Café on a Saturday morning to check on the wait times and was so happy to hear there was barely a wait. My friend and I rushed over and were bursting with excitement to see all these empty tables around us, when we were reminded of their stupid cash only policy. Horrible service, everyone is rude and it takes forever for food to come out. Beware they will give you a barely legible check and the tip will already be included. I won't go here again.

I noticed rats inside this diner. Not going back. The overall cleanliness of this diner is concerning. Plenty of other quality options in Philadelphia. The Fishtown diner is not one of the quality options.

"Was in the area and saw great reviews for this place. A cheese steak and a small pizza. The staff was friendly and the food was ready in about 15 minutes. The cheese steak was fantastic. Bread was perfect, soft, dense and a little crisp on the bottom. It was charged and the ratio of steak, onions, cheese was in place. They gave me sharp cherry peppers on the side so I could control how much went on the sub. Pizza looked good, but I was stuffed with cheese steak. This is a perfect neighborhood spot I would go to the regular if I lived nearby."

"We went on a recent Saturday night for dinner. It was my first time there in over 20 years and the first time for my wife and daughter. We arrived around 7pm and seated after a 40-minute wait. The waitress was great and even asked if we would like her to turn down the speaker directly above our table after seeing our daughter with sensory issues covering her ears. My wife ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, I ordered a double mushroom swiss burger, and we got our daughter chicken nuggets. We also got a couple milkshakes and an order of bacon cheese fries. The burgers were a bit sloppy and greasy, but delicious. The nuggets were made of big meaty pieces of chicken and the fries were awesome. We were really impressed with the very large milkshakes. They were so big, we couldn't finish it all and had plenty to bring home. For a $50 meal plus tip, we were very satisfied.We definitely plan to go back, though next time we're going to try on a different night of the week in hopes of a shorter wait."

"I just moved to Delco and I’m so happy I found this spot! The ambiance of the spot feels like Cheers. It is so cute, a little local gem. My partner and I sat at the bar because they were booked on a Tuesday! Which is a great sign, but make sure you make reservations! I just wanted some mussels and clams and I really was not disappointed. The mussels I got in a red wine sauce, they were delicious but tasted like it was in a tomato based sauce instead. I didn’t taste any red wine but it was still delicious. The baked clams were delicious as well. Diane our server made me Mango Martinis because they weee revamping the drink menu and didn’t have one. I love Diane after those drinks! I’ll be back!"
