"I 'm going to start by saying I love Fred P. Ott 's! It 's very convenient if you live in Westport or on/near the plaza. It 's in walking distance for many. Usually they have good bar food and their staff is very friendly. I placed a to-go order Saturday morning right after they opened 11am. I thought by placing it that early it might come back and bite me, and it did viciously! The buffalo wings I ordered had NO sauce on the them and tasted nothing like the one 's I had ordered on their patio previously. I also ordered fries and a side of cheese sauce. Was ignored by the bartender. Waitress was rude. Says it's kid-friendly had kid's menu but very limited seating and its all high top pub tables. Heard it was good food but we didn't stay to find out. Didn't feel very welcoming.

good service from the bartender, as there was only a bartender service 10 people at the bar. arrived when the threat after an rude customer, but she handled it well and in time with the local security / police. great eating and great singer for karaoke! had not the song I wanted, but it's all good. beautiful place, friendly environment and vibe.
