"Let me start off by saying this food is something so special! Everything I have tried is beyond delicious (even things I don’t usually enjoy). Today I ordered to go through Grubhub and when I arrived the owner let me know it was a mistake on Grubhub’s part, they contacted them months ago to shut down their store. She offered me a meal AND dessert for free even though the situation wasn’t her fault at all. Grubhub refunded my money and I got to eat one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. We had food catered to a small meeting here at The Refuge. From the moment I ordered, to the confirmation, and the delivery the day of, the service was immaculate. And the food itself was beyond incredible! The strawberry shortcake could be its own business!! Thank you so much!

We met the chefs of Gaia’s Kitchen, Sandra and Morgan, at their booth at the Wake Forest Farmer’s Market and purchased a few items. The Buffalo wings, chicken and dumplings, and a lemon dessert were all fantastic! We will definitely be ordering from Gaia’s Kitchen again!Dietary restrictions: In asking about an allergen, Sandra of Gaia’s Kitchen knew all the ingredients in each dish.

"the bone in ribeye was perfectly cooked on my temperature preference, but the cut of the bark was lacking in quality. server were incredible, their timing was impressive and they were very well informed about the menu that cute was a pain, the steak knives were as blunt as a butter knife. it fucked the table to bleed through the steak. incredibly difficult to cut by bark. the brot, was certainly in the top class. perfectly baked."

"I really enjoyed this restaurant. Not only was the interior beautifully decorated with lots of great photo opportunities, but the food was also delicious. I tried a smoothie and a Nutella-filled fish waffle, which were both amazing. I will definitely be back if I visit Raleigh again. Another bonus was that my smoothie came with a cute Baymax on the lid."

"Disgusting place to eat at, sanitation rating is a 90. The food was mediocre and the drinks were water down. I couldn't finish eating my food because of how disgusting and unbearable it was to be in this establishment, the lack of AC and the flies. "I found plates and was able to get a last minute reservation, and we are so glad we did. It was a great meal and everyone enjoyed everything they got. Cocktails were wonderful, the wine and beer drinkers loved what they got. Food was excellent (and I had one of the best dinners I’ve had in years)"

"We started off with the garlic cheesy bread because I cannot say no to cheesy bread. It was great, but we did not need it. We ended up taking half of it home to save room for the rest of dinner. Traditional meatballs were really good. I loved the Parmesan risotto. I could go back and just get that. My husband got the pesto sauce, and I got the Parmesan cream sauce. Pesto was super fresh and really complimented the meatballs. The parm cream sauce fulfilled all my comfort food dreams. The only thing I?d say is the Parmesan cream sauce is heavy (as it should be, it?s cream based) so just be prepared for that."
