Gasthof Alpenblick - Speisekarte

We ordered dinner for 4 and 1 bottle of tap water. We were charged 8,5 CHF for 1 bottle which has been the 1st time in our restaurant experience. We understand the restaurant must wash the glasses...but charging this for a litter of water was a joke. Then charged 24 € for a vegetable dish which was simple, no taste, no sauce and small. We also had 2 Schnitzel that were very good.

My review is for the hotel, not the restaurant. I had trouble finding the owner when I got to the hotel as they were closed at around 1300. There was a number to call but, I didn't have a local sim. Thankfully, the gardening store nearby allowed me to use their phone to contact the owner. I booked both rooms with the attached bathrooms. The rooms were clean and they offered spectacular views out of their windows. The view from the rooms made this my favorite stay in Switzerland.

We were on a long trip through Schwitzerland, and this was one of the cheapest hotels on our way. The room was very modest and small, but well working and with a nice bathroom. Be aware that it can get very hot and the room is without air condition. Service was quite bad. We arrived and there was nobody the landlord had left a message where he asked us to call! (What if we did not carry a phone? Snd why did he not call us in afvance? Anyway a lady came by really quickly and she wanted us to pay in advance before we had even seen the room.
