"I had a great experience when I stayed at Knob Hill Inn last time I was in town, but didn’t have a chance to eat at the grill. I’m in town again and ordered some fried chicken (a friend said it’s the best! for pickup since I’m staying elsewhere on this trip. I used the online ordering system, which was simple, but I never received notice that my food was ready. I gave several extra minutes before calling to check. It was ready (yay, I’m STARVED! and they brought it out to me at valet, which was amazing! However, when I got back to my hotel room, there was no silverware or napkins. Loved the room. We have been spending time there for years. The real issue is that the food choices have been depleted. There are not as many choices and service some days was nil. Lastly, the price has doubled since we have been going there since 2015. It is more than the basic room at the Sun Valley Resort.

We were already biased since we were thrilled that they squeezed our reservation in on a very busy night just before Christmas. We had a perfect corner table in the bar and had beef carpaccio, steamed clams, escargot, ceasar salad, fried chicken, lamb lollipops and prime rib. I'm listing all of these to demonstrate the variety of dishes we sampled and they were ALL delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.

"more beautiful place to eat; the escape is land and it is the first place in idaho that reminds me of a really nice restaurant in new england. we ate on a beautiful shaded veranda, inside was beautiful and also .. my man got the meat and it was amazing, I got the lambshank, the tasty but next time I get the meat. excellent service. they are very consciously gluten-free and they had excellent hard apple wine that is not fruity and sweet."

"Fine food! We had a big expatriate at II Naso. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and were greeted with names. They sat in a beautiful corner with a view of the mountains. Modern folk music played a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere in the background. We started with the antipasto, which was wonderful with various meats and cheeses with grapes and tormented Arugula. Our main dishes were Rainbow Trout Special and Filet Mignon. Both very tasty. The fire of roasted/drilled asparagus and Gorgonzola butter was the icing on the cake! It was easy to make a reservation directly on their website."

"This place has a friendly host and wonderful atmosphere. The artwork is amazing, including a flying geese arrangement sculpted from wood that hangs from the 2nd story. Tom Nichols, owner, suggested the ribeye steak it was the BEST, cooked MR AS requested. I found I could order the mesquite ruby red trout sans the mesquite, and was not disappointed. It was absolutely excellent! (Better than the trout almondine of Warm Springs Ranch fame. My previous favorite. We enjoyed the rice pilaf, with shredded vegetables, and snow peas. For dessert, a sumptuous Ghiradelli Brownie sundae. We had an excellent meal, very good service from Rachel, and a warm visit with Tom about our 5 years working here when it was the Cedar's Yacht Club in the 70s. We highly recommend this restaurant."

"Inexpensive, consistent, interesting, and always a pleasure. I love Enoteca. The Duck Confit and Lamb are my favorites, the flatbreads are great, and the bacon wrapped dates are a must. Best Cheese/Cured Meat board in town! The wine selection is huge and unique, even by the glass. Make a reservation at least a week out! Longer for holidays, etc. Adeliaide, DJ, Patrick, etc...all the staff...they're the BEST!"

"I was very impressed by the Village Station. We visited from the city and decided to try a new place to say happy we were not disappointed! We sat fast. Beverages had been refilled. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was welcoming and casual, but refined. Could dress or dress up to you! The food was absolutely delicious! Ordnete the Flatbread, Meatballs Sub, and Chicken Picatta... each dish burst with taste and we would definitely order it again! Moreover, prices were reasonable. What else could you ask? Encourage everyone to eat here!"
