"service is great. the food is excellent! quality is a level above pita pit. slightly more expensive than a few years ago, but the price increase is comparable to every other restaurant out there right now. its 4/5 instead of 5/5 because they removed the veggie side option. i loved being able to have a mostly healthy meal here, but now the sides are just carbs (pita) or fried carbs (fries). still love the gyros though!"

Awesome local spot for gyros at a decent price. Food was pretty tasty but service took a while. Also sauce in the bag had an open lid so when you reach into the bag to pull out your gyro you get a nice unwanted surprise.

Sometimes your just hungry for a gyro! My girlfriend and I stopped in and were not disappointed! The service was super fast and the food was really good and fast! The meat was tender and the veggies were very fresh! The restaurant was also very clean with a friendly staff! Nice place for lunch!

Stopped at Gyro Shack while driving through town and so glad we did! Very nice place to stop for a rest break and food during a long road trip. Gyro Shack does catering and they were in the middle of a couple large catering orders, but that didn’t slow down the service and the staff was so friendly! I’m looking forward to another Chicken Bacon Ranch bowl soon!

"The Prime Rib was excellent. My husband had the scallops and he said they were cooked perfectly. We also ordered a side of the mushroom and they were delicious. For dessert we had the chocolate soufflé and it was to die for. Overall excellent meal and service"

"I've been sitting here for my birthday dinner after I've been living next to this restaurant for over a year. In the summer they play obnoxily loud music, which is why I was first switched off, but I decided to give him a chance because it is supposed to be one of the best restaurants in Boise. On the "vegetarian" menu, her rice is actually made with chicken broth. We sat in the indoor and outdoor terrace in the area of traffic so that everyone hit by my partner on the back. We ordered the table side guacamole that came on a plastic car with Stale chips that knows how long they sit on the second shelf. The way was so narrow that he had to go aside constantly, as the other employees prepared tables with plates above the top of the guacamole. I guess if you use food in enough bovine lactate, people get the casomorphins out and think it's great. By default, everything is cooked in butter, so we had to ask for oil. The waitress was ambivalent when I told her that the food was too spicy, and she asked me what the word was stale when I complained about the chips that came with the $16 guacamole. They had no salsa or a topping that contained no cream. I would expect a $92 dinner that was almost untouched after two separate people for our review and sink to take home boxes that someone would have realized that it was a problem. The Portobello Fajitas had so much jalapeno they were boundlessly unpredictable. If 0 was an option to rate this place, I would, or just take if this app was overall."

"Erstens war der Geräuschniveau lächerlich. Ich bin nicht alt oder lärmempfindlich, aber keiner meiner Partei konnte sich hören. Es war wie eine laute Barszene, aber in dem, was als ein schönes Restaurant war. Getränke waren überhaupt nicht gut, ich schickte den ersten zurück, weil sie einige der Zutaten vergessen haben, weil alle Erwachsenen an meinem Tisch das gleiche Getränk bestellten. Der zweite kam und schmeckte so schlecht, dass ich es nicht trinken konnte. Der Service war schrecklich, und nachdem wir uns eine Stunde für unser Essen gewartet hatten, nur zu erzählten, gab es mehrere Tische, die sich immer noch vor uns auf Nahrung warten, wir haben uns entschieden zu gehen. Für die Getränke bezahlt, die Kellnerin reichlich kippte, und sie gab mir immer noch Trauer und Unhöflichkeit, als wir gingen. Ich hatte noch nie so eine schlechte Erfahrung in einem Restaurant"

"The only thing that is disappointed is that this place is in another state of mine. The Ravioli? PERFECTLY al dente, delicate and tasteful, while perfectly mixed. The fennel pollen bring a flowery divinity to a sweet fresh cream. It's pure joy. And the Cannoli is so perfect. It is thin and crispy the seasonal berries are perfectly ripe, there is not too much sugar in the cheese. I would like to see a bit of blood orange loop in the filling to really let the strawberries sing, but honestly, this is one of the best cannolis I had in decades. With so many fresh and local ingredients you can really go wrong."
