Hixton Travel Plaza

What a nice place to stop. Gas was a good price, the restrooms were extremely clean, and the employees were friendly.

I had heard about the Hixton Travel Plaza restaurant and could finally try it myself. The restaurant was busy, but I sat and served right away. Beautiful friendly atmosphere and the food was fantastic, totally outperformed my expectations in every way. I ordered the steak and eggs, everything was done as I ordered it and absolutely delicious! Well done! I will definitely be back and recommend

A real jewel in the middle of Wisconsin right on I-94 on Highway 95 in Hixton. I was stopped by Milwaukee in October because of the favorable gas. Found a great restaurant back to the days when truck stops well prepared, real, home food offered. So refreshing, not for the typical over expensive, moderate fast food junk that now dominates over almost any interstate. You have an extensive menu with all classic comfort food at really reasonable prices. The service was fast and efficient. The restaurant is very well maintained and has a well-stocked amenities store. I have moved this stop to the top of my list for trips between Minneapolis and Milwaukee.
