"Let's talk about Hoots Country Kitchen I wanted to try some things before I gave it a review. Well, I can't say enough for the staff, especially Harley, this girl is sooo sweet and friendly. Now the food, some of their combinations sound a bit strange, but I tried anyway. I haven't found a single thing I don't LOVE. The bride is amazing and so very delicate. The portion size is just as brilliant. You won't be hungry after your meal. The Twisted Frito Pie container is as heavy as a brick! You could feed three people from this one container. My favourite place to order in Rockport!!!! I'd recommend the country kitchen to everyone. People who come to visit get a special treat whenever we order Hoots!!!! Because they give a hoot about the food I dig. New breakfast options are also great ..!

Really good food. A fun place to eat. It has been several times and always good food and service. You get your money worth and have some very interesting items on the menu. However, if you are in chic food and environment, this is not your place. I think it's just fun to step back once in time and that's my place.

Can I give him TEN stars? You deserve it. Tons of 5 stars and a 2?? Someone had a day. You can't say anything bad here. Enjoy the ride there and come with more great food than you can wear! You'll be glad you found this little jewel! I have a fabulous Twisted Frito Pie I will be able to make THREE meals, and if I have that I will be back for a loaded BBQ potato!!!

"Fun restaurant, this is something else for Rockport. We tried the slider sampler, seafood Mac and cheese, cream from crab soup and Calamari. We enjoyed all the food we tried! They also had the best beer and bourbon selection I saw in this area. I just want to see more plates for every diner so that the different foods are not eaten on your plate. Maybe give each person 3 or 4. Great restaurant!"

"Pier77 is still my favorite place for fried fish and shrimp. The batter they use is thin and crispy. We ordered the combo fish and shrimp plate to share and we couldn't finish it all. The French fries are fantastic. All the servers are very helpful and friendly."

"I was there three times to give the food another chance, but I really don't think the sandwiches are so good. I heard good things about the chicken salad, but I'm just not a fan of it in general, so I didn't say anything about it. I think it can be that they are too much of a meat in the sandwich and not enough of the other blows. I got the baked potato soup and when it was placed in front of me, there was a small bowl of blows hidden behind the cup, so I never saw the blow. So I ate a simple potato soup because I didn't know it came to the surcharges. That was a bummer. I thought it just tasted, but maybe it's good when the punches are added. All in all, I'm just not a big fan of the whole taste of the 3 different sandwiches I've tried now, but they have a redeeming quality. This is one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. So A on it!"

"Well, the food was really good, but I felt it was a bit expensive for how good. My big comment is that the pages were slandered while the meat seasons almost exaggerated the duck. If you ate them together, they were very good, but not everyone likes to combine them in a bite. We had fried, cooked, panned shrimps. We had pasta and potatoes. We had the tomato bisque and sidsalate. The dressing seemed in the house, and they were good. However, I recommend them on the side. They were very rich and too much was on my salad. The staff was nice and the artwork was a nice touch. It leans on a fancier outfit, but they don't have us in our shorts and flip-flops, which goes a long way with me. I'd go back."

"One of the best, if not best, Cafe's in Rockport. Our 30th anniversary in Rockport. We have breakfast there every 3 morning. The food was great. The best was the friendly staff. It is so nice to go to a small town and experience the welcoming and friendly nature of the locals. We had grown up our 13-year-old town, granddaughter with us and she was amazed at how friendly the staff was. This knowledge of her made the whole journey worth it. Thank you, JJ's, stop the great work."
