"What a lively, active place. There was a long line when we were there on Thursday night at 7:00. They worked quickly through the line and we were at a table in 5-10 minutes. I would say it was filled with most locals who knew each other and were regular. There were many families with children of all ages. We served quickly, enjoyed great chips and salsa and then followed Chimichamgas. They were full of chicken and were light and crispy with sour cream, cheese sauce, tomatoes, guacamole, salad, along with rice and beans. Service was friendly and waiting staff worked hard. This place is all I ever need. Free chips and salsa. Lunch specialties under $10. They cover deceptions in Queso. Nice service. Had lunch fajita special with a tamale through the city. What a jewel.

Do not let the outer appearance fool you. You have good food at decent prices. The staff was friendly and service was good. Two small things brought it to a 4-star rating. Soup needed salt. I know salt level is a personal preference, but you must at least start somewhere to extract the flavors. As soon as I added some salt, it was good. The other is the corn tortillas for the streets tacos, where fat. I saw that the oil was just not hot enough when they cooked it. But I'll say the taste was there. The salsa was delicious and I liked the fresh thin chips.
