"A literally hole in the wall!! Parking: Free! You can find parking in the front or back of the restaurant Wait Time: You seat yourselves to whatever table is available. I came right around 5:30pm and there were a lot of open tables. But once it hit 6pm, all the tables were basically filled. Service: GREAT! The restaurant seems like it's family owned and there were only like 3 ppl working inside. There was only one waitress that was serving 7 tables and one chef and one runner. Great food with very large portions. Highly recommend their burgers and their surf &turf burrito. Food was beyond expectations. Staff was friendlier than family. They also have daily specials. Come check them out

This is a hidden gem in Bishop. The owner Fidel is super friendly and treats you like family. Order the chips and salsa with all 3 types of salsa they are all so good! The fish tacos were the Friday special and they were delicious! We also order the ceviche every time, it is super fresh and flavorful. The portions are generous and the service is always great. Oh, and get a beer on tap, and enjoy the light show!

This is a very small restaurant with excellent food. Please be kind; the chef (husband and the server/hostess (wife are also the owners so they're busting their butts to serve quality food. The food is fresh and it's good! My only advice to them would be to streamline the menu a bit. I ordered the Western burger and asked for all the veggies (lettuce tomatoes etc and they piled them high! the fries are also very good.

"I visited this restaurant for the first time and it certainly won't be my last. The breakfast burrito was delicious and massive. The cheese quesadilla was perfectly cheesy, with a generous portion that was absolutely fantastic. There are a ton of other options to choose from as well. The tamales were delicious, but they’re flying off the shelves quickly. They also offer menudo, elote, and other treats. You definitely should give this little gem a try! "We like a lot hanging out. Yesterday we went to this superb restaurant which we didn’t know before. We spent a beautiful time there with exceptional dishes and a well-trained team and an impressive chief cook. We put this venue in our list and we will no doubt return very soon. "First time trying Holy Smoke BBQ its pretty good but not my favorite. I ordered the sampler with brisket, tri-tip,spicy sausage,corn bread,coleslaw bbq beans. What I really liked is the brisket, tri-tip,bbq beans and cornbread. I prefer Santa Maria style bbq tri-tip and there's was cooked more like a brisket and a little chewy. Beans are sweet with brisket and the corn bread was moist, the coleslaw I believe was mayo based not vinegar based with good flavor, sausage was just ok. "the escape options are to change any burger to an impossible patty $5!, the burger with tempeh the homemade patty is vegetarian, not vegan or a tempo reuben: to veganize, remove Swiss cheese and 1000 island dressing duh. there are no vegan replacement options for cheese or dressings. I added avocado $1.50 to put something on it. the tempeh is bland, like the sour wort etc., so without the cheese or dressing there is no taste. Sweet potatoes are good. should have tried the brussel sprouts although again marked vegetarian, not vegan ."
